About Heather
Heather is a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild and Actors’ Equity Association. She trained at South Coast Repertory (SCR) and studied ballet with the Joffrey Ballet School and American Ballet Theatre. After completing her freshman year at Scripps College, she was accepted as a transfer student to New York University, receiving the highest merit scholarship available to undergraduate students for Tisch Drama's B.F.A. Program. She has appeared on CBS All Access, HBO, and SCR’s Segerstrom Stage during their annual Pacific Playwrights Festival. While frequently typed as an ingenue, at heart, Heather is a character actor with an affinity for the strange and unusual. She is currently studying with Howard Deutch and Amir Korangy at Workspace Hollywood.
Heather graduated with honors from the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in European Languages and Studies with an emphasis in Early Modern Europe and a B.A. in Drama. She was awarded her M.A. in Depth Psychology with emphasis in Jungian Psychology and Archetypal Studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute. One of her papers has been published, and another was accepted for publication and is undergoing revisions. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Golden Key International Honor Society, and Tau Sigma.
Her passion projects, hobbies, and special interests unrelated to acting include painting, singing, dancing, math, astrology, astrophysics, psychology, end-of-life care and grief education, death education, social justice, children’s rights, animal rights, writing, violin, and reading. She received her professional certification as a Companion Animal End-of-Life Doula from the University of Vermont and is certified in Usui Holy Fire® 3 Reiki Levels 1 and 2 through the International Center for Reiki Training and in Let Animals Lead® Core Curriculum.
